SCRATCH NIGHT TICKETS ON SALE!! 🥳🎪🎟🤩 The Women's Circus Scratch Night is an informal performance night for our community, held right here at the Drill Hall. It's an opportunity for our members, trainers and folks of a marginalised gender from our open training program to hit the stage with their wild and wacky ideas. Everything from a work in progress, a new idea in development, a skills display or a fully realised act is welcome - and we have a great line up!

🗓️ Sunday 18 May
⏰ Doors 4:30pm, Performances 5:00pm – 6:00pm (bar open pre and post show)
📍 Women's Circus Drill Hall
🎟️ $5 - $10 for members, $25 for non members. All funds raised go towards our Member Cabaret at the end of the year.

Coming up 👉 Mid-Term Circus Play (6–12yrs) – Two Themed Sessions! 🎪

Need a mid-term energy boost? We’ve got two exciting themed circus sessions where kids can tumble, climb, and swing their way through an action-packed afternoon—no prior experience needed!

Bring a friend and join the fun! These sessions are great for our current students who'd like an extra fun circus session, and those completely new to Women's Circus who'd like to try a circus class before enrolling in a term.

🐾 Animal Adventures – Friday 16 May
Kids will leap like lions, balance like flamingos, and swing through the jungle in this wild and playful session!

👻 Spooky Circus – Friday 13 June
Ghosts, ghouls, and giggles await! Kids will master their circus tricks with a spooky twist—perfect for little acrobats who love a frightful (but fun!) challenge.

📅 Dates: Friday 16 May & Friday 13 June
⏰ Time: 4:00pm – 5:15pm
💲 Price per session: $22

We are thrilled to introduce our new Chair of the Board, Noni Sproule! 😍

Noni (She/Her) has been engaged in community, trade union, women’s health and social equity activism for almost 20 years, with more than ten of those years in Melbourne’s West. In her professional life, she has worked to create impact across the government, not for profit and private sectors in the health, education and justice sectors.

With broad experience in community organising, partnerships, campaigns, engagement, communications, change, strategy and funding, Noni is delighted to step into the role of Chair of the Women's Circus Board.

Both Noni and her young son, Augie, train as part of our social circus and feel incredibly lucky to be part of such a special community. We couldn't be happier with this appointment and are excited to welcome Noni!
