Scholarships for Young People

At Women’s Circus, we believe cost shouldn’t be a barrier to joining the circus.

Thanks to support from the Australia Post 2026 People of Post Grants program, we have a limited number of full and partial scholarships for children and young people aged 2 to 18 in Melbourne’s western suburbs. Scholarships go towards Term 3 and Term 4 fees, so more young people can take part in the programs they want to join.

Who can apply

You can apply if the young person:

  • is aged 2 to 18 (Tiny Tots and Kids of all genders, Teens of marginalised genders)
  • lives, studies, or regularly spends time in Melbourne’s western suburbs
  • would like to enrol in a Term 3 or Term 4 young people’s class
  • comes from a family who would find our fees a stretch

We especially welcome applications from First Nations families, single-parent and kinship care families, families on low incomes or income support, families with disability or chronic illness, migrant and refugee communities, and LGBTQIA+ young people and families.

Previous scholarship recipients are welcome to apply.

How to apply

The application is short, confidential, and non-judgmental. You don’t need to upload any financial documents. Just tell us briefly what you need.
