We wanted to show you the spirit of community conn

We wanted to show you the spirit of community connection within Women’s Circus, so it was a no brainer to ask the Wednesday Night acro class 🤩 This class is a wonderfully connected group that truly represents the diverse membership of Women’s Circus, and embodies the ethos of everything we do here.

This End of Financial Year, we’re raising $25,000 to keep our programs running - social and creative programs that empower people of marginalised genders to discover their strength, reclaim their bodies, and build powerful community through circus. We cannot do this work alone - we need your support!

Donate before 30 June to help us reach our goal and you’ll create meaningful, positive impact for someone who experiences marginalisation. And don’t forget all donations over $2 are tax deductible! 🤩

📣 Holiday Program out now! 7 - 20 July 🤩 This one is jam packed 🎉 Join us in Footscray for some exciting circus workshops, there's something for everyone - young people, adults, first timers, and members.

Never tried circus before? Give these a go, no membership required:

We know the positive impacts social circus has on mental health, physical health, community cohesion and social uplift ⭐ We see it every day on our training floor and hear it from our kids, families and members. This End of Financial Year, please consider making a tax deductible donation to Women's Circus, and know that your gift will make a real, tangible difference for someone who experiences marginalisation 💕

In 2024 alone, Women's Circus was able to provide $33,407 in subsidies to our social circus program, helping to improve access for those who face barriers to participation. None of this would be have been possible without donors.

Based on information received in our 2024 Members Survey, 54% of our members identify as LGBTQIA+, and 27% identify as neurodiverse. We are a proud queer organisation with a fundamental connection to the western suburbs and those who reside here. We have a long history of supporting women and other marginalised genders, providing a safe space and open arms of friendship, community and connection.

By donating to Women's Circus, you will be enabling us to continue the work we do in our mission of empowering people of a marginalised genders through circus. We cannot continue this work without you.

Mid-Term Circus Play (6–12yrs) - Spooky Circus themed! 👻🎪

Ghosts, ghouls, and giggles await! Coming up on Friday 13 June we have another mid-term opportunity to try a circus class. Kids will master their circus tricks with a spooky twist—perfect for little acrobats who love a frightful (but fun!) challenge. Spooky themed for Friday 13th, kids will tumble, climb, and swing their way through an action-packed afternoon—no prior experience needed!

This session is great for our current students who'd like an extra fun circus session, and those completely new to Women's Circus who'd like to try a circus class before enrolling in a term.

📅 Dates: Friday 13 June
⏰ Time: 4:00pm – 5:15pm
💲 Price: $22
We encourage kids to dress up to the theme!
