Past Productions

Since 1991, the Women’s Circus has created over 30 original works combining contemporary circus, theatre and music.

Women’s Circus shows have long been a feature of Melbourne’s cultural landscape. We have performed regularly in the Big West Festival, Melbourne Fringe Festival and Midsumma Festival, amongst others.

Women’s Circus has been privileged to work with some of Australia’s leading artists and directors including Sarah Cathcart, Kate Sulan, Nadia Kostich, Deb Batton, Anni Davey, Steph Kehoe and founding Artistic Director Donna Jackson.

We are proud to have supported the early directing careers of some amazing contemporary circus artists including Spenser Inwood, Sara Pheasant and Christy Flaws.
