Give your group a taste of the possibilities of circus with this intro to skills including acrobalance, hula hooping, juggling and manipulation. A wonderful way for participants to connect with their bodies and build confidence!
Join our expert Trainers at The Drill Hall, Women’s Circus Training Centre, where participants can work with our specialised aerials equipment. Fly on a trapeze, climb a rope, rock in a cloud swing. Participants will test their boundaries and learn to fly!
*Please note, this workshop can only be delivered at the Drill Hall in West Footscray
Using a mixture of circus and theatre games, skills and trust exercises your group will learn the importance and joy of supporting one another, while building individual confidence. This is an ideal workshop to help build friendship and camaraderie. Our expert trainers are warm, supportive and encouraging.
Girls to the Front is a Women’s Circus program focused on providing space for women to move, be heard, share ideas and stories and develop confidence and leadership skills. Using circus skills and tricks, we’ll support women to acknowledge their personal strengths with emphasis on their physical and emotional well-being.
*Please note this workshop is specifically for people who identify as a woman or trans* and gender diverse
Women’s Circus workshops are designed for all genders and are tailored to the age and ability levels of participants. We are always eager to work with community groups or organisations – in particular those that support CALD/refugee, women, LGBTQIA, and disability communities.
